Good day, I hope that all is well and that you all endure good health. I trust that the year has brought about some good and positive change for everyone and that this year would be a successful year. The reason why I'm sending this email this late is because I was hoping to have my results by now so that I can attach it to the email. However as a result of the ongoing strike things have not gone the way they were suppose to. I couldn't wait any longer because we're almost in the second month of 2017.

I would really just like to thank each and everyone of you for all your help. What you did for me is life changing. I remember the day I met with a few members from the team and one of the gentlemen asked if I was sure about studying psychology. In my excitement I almost shouted yes, and after these past two years I couldn't be more sure. Thank you for believing in me, thank you for opening your hearts and pockets to help me but most of all thank you for making my dream a reality. Not only did I gain knowledge but I also gained strength to continue fighting the good fight, I learned skills which I would not have learned else where, I had a few wake up calls along the way and I learned the art of going for days without sleep in order to meet deadlines. I honestly have so many things to be grateful for and I owe all of it to you. So from the bottom of heart THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️ you have changed my life. Thank you so much for believing in me and reminding me that I am worth something and that I can accomplish greatness. Thank you for showing me that success is within my reach, all I have to do is keep pushing past all rational limits. I will forever be grateful to each of you.

Please continue changing people's lives because I for one can vouch for the major difference you have made in mine. I will forever be grateful to each of you, because you guys are reminder that there are good people in this world who genuinely just want to help others. Again THANK YOU and God bless.

Dear Aunty Alison and Metropolitan team

Thank you for the opportunity that I was given last year, there are not enough words in the English dictionary which could describe my gratitude to all of you. You have given me an opportunity of a life time and for that I will forever be grateful. I have learned so much the past year, there were a few hiccups along the way with me trying to juggle varsity as well as odd jobs, but with good guidance and perseverance I was able to successfully complete my first year as a university student. When I first met the Metropolitan team one of the questions posed to me was, “what if I start studying in the field and realise that it’s not what I actually want.” That question remained with me throughout the year and I believe that it’s really what I want to do for the rest of my life. I have learned so much about myself, people and the world. Things that never made sense to me I now have solid answers to, the first year has really been an emotional one for me because they taught us that the first 3 years of studying you are your own patient. I have learnt so much about myself and that’s all thanks to you and now that I’m in the business of attempting to do the same for other people it stimulates me to know that someday I will be able to help people get through their rough patch. Aunt Alison always says, “What you do for yourself dies with you, but what you do for others will live long even after you’re gone”. These words of wisdom describes exactly what each and every one of you did for me and what I plan to do for others when I am able to create opportunities for others.

Aunty Alison thank you so much for never giving up on me and for believing in me and my dreams. There truly is not enough money on this planet to repay you for what you are doing for me and for so many other kids. You may not have your own TV show (yet) or be on the cover of magazines but to many of us you deserve the Nobel peace prize. You are beyond phenomenal and you show wisdom beyond your years. You have taught me a lot in the period of time in which I have known you. I love how you took your experience and used it as tools to assist broken children. Thank you for giving so many of us a chance to a life closet to normal, I love the fact that you always see the good in everyone. Thank you for always being available to me with good counselling and when things get tough thanks for always reminding me that our God is even tougher. You truly are phenomenal and one of the strongest woman I know and I pray that God will continuously bless your selfless soul in abundance. You truly are a remarkable human being, God really took His time when He created your golden heart. I have learned that we are all ordinary people, but as ordinary as we are we still have the ability to turn on a small light in a dark room.

I’m not sure what will happen in the year 2016, but somehow I’m not afraid not because I have things figured out because I really don’t but I’m taking everything on faith. I strongly believe that it was God who made all this possible so I will place it all in His hands. Thank you so much for the opportunity of a lifetime that I was given last year, I do hope that I would be considered in the new year as well if not I will understand. From the bottom of my heart thank you very much for everything that was done for me, it really means the world to me and believe me when I say this has made me hungrier than before.

Kind Regards
